Sovereign TRI Series Tinman

Published on Dec. 10, 2014

Grant Raynor participates in the opening Sovereign TRI Series Tinman in Mt Maunganui on 7 December 2014 to raise money for urgent remedial work on an Orphanage in the Philippines. Children's Garden is an orphanage in Manila that floods every time it rains leaving the kids sleeping on wet beds etc. Help me change this.

In the Philippines largest city, Manila, is the Childrens Garden Orphanage which provides HOPE for some who have been left without a family, and as a result, without a home. Without a social welfare system, destitution results.

The Orphanage has a small premises in Manila that is badly in need of remedial work. The roof leaks and so every time it rains it floods leaving the kids sleeping in wet surroundings on floor-based mattresses. YOUR donation will help provide funds to fix the roof, make the orphanage watertight, and other restoration.

To help raise funds I;

- FINISHED the Sovereign TRI (Olympic distance) at Mt Maunganui on 7th December 2014 in 2:49, and

- am matching YOUR donation dollar-for-dollar (to a max of $2,000).

While the TRI is now done, please feel free to SPONSOR ME for this Triathlon (swim 1500m, cycle 40kms, and run 10kms) for the kids at the Childrens Garden Orphanage in Manila.
